State Representative Richardson Introduces Legislation to Create a Folds of Honor License Plate
COLUMBUS - State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) today introduced legislation to create a Folds of Honor license plate. Folds of Honor of Central Ohio is an organization that that awards educational scholarships to children and spouses of service-men and women who were killed or disabled. Funds from the sale of these license plates would help fund scholarships.
“As we recognize the sacrifices of our fallen this Memorial Day, I am pleased to support the needs of Folds of Honor of Central Ohio by starting a personalized license plate here in Ohio,” said Rep. Richardson. “This deserving organization provides for the educational needs of the children and spouses of our fallen and disabled heroes.”
The creation of this license plate would also help raise awareness of Folds of Honor’s work and potentially find new donors, enabling them to award more scholarships to deserving military families.
This legislation will now be assigned a bill number and committee assignment.
