Richardson Releases Statement about Texas School Shooting

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) has released the following statement regarding the school shooting that took place in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends and the school community of the victims of the horrific tragedy. I unite with many throughout our state and country as we mourn the loss of innocent life and process the shock of senseless violence experienced in Uvalde.  After volunteering in an elementary school for almost 10 years, it is devastating to imagine what happened in Texas. If I could usher in peace and put an end to violence and aggression, I would. It is difficult to comprehend how an individual could do such evil.  For now, we grieve and hope.”
