Richardson Issues Statement on Intel's Investment in Ohio

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) highlights Intel’s Investment in Ohio. Intel, a semiconductor company, announced Friday that they will be bringing the largest economic development project in Ohio’s history to Licking County.

Richardson released the following statement on the announcement:

"I am excited to echo the enthusiasm across the Central Ohio region and throughout the State of Ohio about the newest and largest economic development project in the history of our state. We have seen the supply chain negatively impacted throughout the pandemic. It is critically important that we have the capacity to produce microchips to support all our local manufacturers in the 86th District including Honda and Whirlpool. Hopefully, the presence of this new company will ease the supply challenges and help spur production, jobs and revenue that will add to the quality of life of all residents right here at home and throughout Ohio."
