Richardson Honored with AMVET Legislator of the Year Award

COLUMBUS –State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) was recently presented a Legislator of the Year award by the American Veterans Department of Ohio. 

“It is a true honor to be recognized by the AMVETS,” Richardson said. “As a state representative, I serve to make sure that all Ohioans know the commitment, personal sacrifices, and meaning of what it is to be called a veteran. Supporting and championing the needs of veterans, their families, and all who currently wear the uniform is a top priority.”

The AMVETS chooses recipients of the award for their continued support of veterans and the veteran community. 

Founded in 1944, the AMVETS has a membership of more than 250,000 and helps enhance the quality of life for veterans, their families and their communities by providing assistance, jobs and services.
