Richardson Celebrates the Opening of the Marion Vibrant Community in Downtown
COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) celebrated the opening of the Marion Vibrant Community project with Governor Mike DeWine and representatives from JobsOhio Thursday.
Spearheaded by the Henry Development Group with support and funding from state grants, the Marion Vibrant Community is a project to revitalize historic downtown Marion buildings for modern-day use. The development group purchases buildings to lease office space and residential lofts.
“This celebration today is the reflection of the growth and revitalization that is happening right here in our Downtown Revitalization,” Richardson said. “Marion is on the move to innovate, inspire and to continue to make our community a wonderful place to live, work and to raise a family. I'm excited to be part of it!"
The first of these new businesses is the Connect Coworx, which will occupy 7,100 square feet building and serve as a hub for Marion area’s professionals, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
Richardson presented a commendation to the company for moving into the new business and helping pave a path for other businesses to call downtown Marion home.
