Wiggam's Committee Assignments Announced

COLUMBUS – State Representative Scott Wiggam (R-Wayne County) has been appointed recently to chair the newly created House Constitutional Resolutions Committee. 

In addition to the appointed chairmanship, Wiggam was also appointed to serve as a member of the Agriculture, Ways and Means, and Public Utilities committee. 

“This new committee will take a solid look at legislation that will impact our states constitution,” said Wiggam. “We want to make sure that any possible change to the cornerstone of law in Ohio has been well vetted and is in the best interest of Ohioans.”     

Legislation, once introduced, is assigned to a committee that is topically relevant to the bill. Committee members will hear the legislation, offer suggestions to make the legislation stronger and once completed with the committee process, recommend the legislation move to the House floor for a vote.
