Wiggam Appointed to Sunset Review Committee

COLUMBUS – State Representative Scott Wiggam (R-Wayne County) has been appointed to the Ohio Sunset Review committee. 

The Sunset Review Committee is tasked with holding hearings and receiving testimony from various state agencies to evaluate their usefulness, performance and effectiveness to the people and agencies of Ohio.

“Committees like the Sunset Review have a significant purpose to state government,” said Wiggam. “The decisions and recommendations made by the members may not have immediate impact but start the conversation that shapes our government to be more efficient and serve the people of Ohio better.”

The nine-member committee has not yet held their first meeting.
