McClain sworn-in to 87th Ohio House District for second term

UPPER SANDUSKY – On Monday, State Rep. Riordan McClain (R-Upper Sandusky) was officially sworn-in to his second term of office for the 87th Ohio House District. The district encompasses Wyandot, Crawford, and Morrow counties, as well as portions of Marion and Seneca counties. McClain is a lifelong resident of Wyandot County where he resides with his wife and five children. 

“I’m thankful for this opportunity and excited to continue engaging with our communities to find ways to make life better. It’s exciting to begin a new chapter under the 134th General Assembly,” said McClain. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on meaningful policy that is going to provide real solutions for the people of Ohio in the coming year.” 

McClain’s priorities for the upcoming year include upholding the rights of every Ohioan under the Constitution, protecting small businesses, creating economic development and job growth, balancing the state budget, and promoting family values.

Monday’s swearing-in ceremony of legislators marks the beginning of the 134th General Assembly, which will span from 2021-22.
