COLUMBUS – State Representative Scott Lipps (R- Franklin) voted to support the Ohio House state operating budget and the bill passed during session Wednesday. The legislation provides billions in funding over the next two fiscal years to grow the economy and workforce, protect Ohio families and most vulnerable, and invest in educating our communities.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Scott Lipps (R-Franklin), Chairman of the Joint Committee to Examine the Activities of the State’s Protection and Advocacy (P&A) System and Client Assistance Program (CAP), released the committee’s recommendations on these programs. 

State Rep. Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) announces House Bill 687, also known as the “capital bill,” has been signed into law by the governor. The legislation includes the two-year state construction budget that contains funding for a variety of initiatives across the state and aid for local projects throughout the 62nd Ohio House District. 

State Rep. Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) announces House Bill 324, also known as “Shirley and Wilma’s Law,” has passed out of the Ohio House. The bill ensures that patients are allowed access to both family and clergy amid a pandemic such as COVID-19. Lipps spoke to the bill on the House floor.

State Rep. Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) announces the Ohio Senate approved House Bill 136 earlier this week and it now heads to the governor’s desk. Lipps is the primary sponsor of the bill.
