Rep. Grim Hosts Press Conference Announcing $500K for Toledo Museum of Art
TOLEDO —State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today held a press conference regarding the allocation of $500K to the Toledo Museum of Art.
"The Glass Pavilion illustrates the intersection of artistic expression and industry that makes Toledo truly special. As a representative of our community, ensuring that all community members have spaces to learn, enjoy, and participate in the rich art of Toledo remains one of my top priorities," said Rep. Grim.
These funds will be used to support the renovation of TMA’s Glass Pavilion. The Glass Pavilion was constructed in honor of Toledo’s rich history with the glass industry, displaying a world-renowned glass collection and artist studios.
The funding is thanks to Rep. Grim’s support of House Bill 2, the state's record-setting $6.2B biennial state capital budget, which allocates funds to local projects and institutions of higher education statewide.
