Rep. Lawson-Rowe Announces New Workforce, Economic Development for Groveport
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Meredith Lawson-Rowe (D-Reynoldsburg) today announced that the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) approved a proposal for a healthcare center to open a new location in Groveport.
“I am excited to announce that Reliable Health Solutions has been given approval to move forward with their plans of opening a new healthcare center in the city of Groveport,” said Rep. Lawson-Rowe. “This center will spur much-needed economic and workforce development in the city and, more importantly, will provide critical healthcare distribution services to residents in and around Groveport.”
Reliable Health Solutions (RHS) is a medical supply distributor providing a wide range of healthcare products, including home healthcare, wound care, respiratory, diabetic, and orthopedic supplies to individuals, pharmacies, home medical equipment providers, and mid-sized distributors.
The proposed project includes establishing a new facility to meet growing demand and adapt to changes in the healthcare marketplace. The new center aims to create 106 full-time-equivalent positions, which are expected to generate $7.7M in new annual payroll in Groveport.
TCA also approved a 1.466 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.
