Williams to Attend BILLD Program
COLUMBUS – State Representative Josh Williams (R-Sylvania) will be heading to Madison, Wisc. to participate in the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development program. The Bowhay Institute is one of the premier leadership training programs in the nation and selects their participants through a competitive, nonpartisan selection process.
“I’m honored and excited to be attending this years BILLD program to help improve my legislative knowledge and skill to better serve the people of the 41st House District,” Williams said.
The program helps newer legislators develop the skills necessary to become effective leaders, informed decision-makers and astute policy analysts. The annual program offers a unique opportunity for lawmakers to improve their leadership skills and explore the issues of the day with nationally renowned scholars, professional development experts, and legislative leaders and colleagues from around the Midwest.
Williams serves as the as vice-chair of the Criminal Justice Committee and is currently serving his first term in the House.
