COLUMBUS— The Ohio House of Representatives yesterday voted to override Governor DeWine’s recent veto of House Bill 68, announced State Rep. Jon Cross (R-Findlay).
Cross issued the following statement regarding the vote:
“Yesterday, I took a critical step to protect children and the integrity of women’s sports in Ohio by voting ‘yes’ on overriding the Governor’s veto of House Bill 68, the SAFE Act and the Save Women’s Sports Act. I call on the Senate to return to the statehouse quickly, without delay, and override the Governor’s veto to ensure these measures become law in Ohio.”
The veto override now heads to the Ohio Senate for consideration.
