Cross Issues Statement on Declaration by Governor DeWine
COLUMBUS—State Representative Jon Cross (R-Findlay) issued the following statement on Governor DeWine signing a disaster declaration after last week’s storms:
"Thank you to Governor DeWine for signing a disaster declaration to help bring immediate support so the Indian Lake community can begin to rebuild. The Governor listened to the residents who asked him to send in the National Guard to assist with the cleanup efforts.
I applaud Ohio Northern University which is on standby with its mobile pharmacy to help residents in need if called upon.
I would also like to thank all the local businesses and residents of the 83rd district who have come together and shown a tremendous outpouring of support for their neighbors.
As we continue with the recovery efforts we are working on both short and long-term plans to rebuild Indian Lake and ensure it comes back better than ever.
As more information becomes available, I will update you on how we can help our community."
