Rep. Whitted Announces Funding for Local UC Blue Ash Renovations
COLUMBUS - State Rep. Jodi Whitted (D-Madeira) today announced that the Controlling Board has approved the release of $4.75M to the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash Campus’ Muntz Hall renovations. “I am excited to see state support for our local satellite college campuses. These improvements will help build up the campus and the entire Blue Ash community. Local access to higher education is so important and I am proud to have UC Blue Ash in my district,” said Rep. Whitted.
The Controlling Board approved other important projects, including:
- $233k for emergency preparedness planning for persons with disabilities.
- $3.5M for Learning Aid Ohio program to support students with disabilities.
- $70M for Medicaid contracts with CareSource (Dayton, OH) and CareStar (Hamilton County) for recovery management services.
