Powell Inviting District Guests to Attend 'State of the State'

State Rep. Jena Powell (R-Arcanum) announces she is accepting applications for individuals to nominate students and teachers across the 80th Ohio House District to attend the upcoming “State of the State” address from Gov. Mike DeWine.

“It’s my pleasure to reach out to my constituents for their input and thoughts on why they’d like a certain teacher or student to attend this year’s upcoming State of the State address by our governor,” Powell said. “I want this to be a thoughtful and educational experience for whichever guests from our district are selected to come to Columbus for the event!”

The upcoming State of the State address from the governor will be at noon Wednesday, March 23 in the Ohio House chamber at the Statehouse.

Anyone may submit a nomination form as Powell is wanting to read why those applying are interested about the state and Ohio’s governing system.
