Powell Announces Pro-Life Caucus

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Jena Powell (R-Arcanum) today announced she will be starting the Pro-Life Caucus in the Ohio General Assembly. 

“Many of my colleagues and I voted to support the Heartbeat Bill last General Assembly, and it’s important we continue to protect life from fertilization to natural death,” said Powell. “There is an important abortion case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, before the U.S. Supreme Court this term, making it crucial that we move Ohio forward in support of the unborn.”

The group plans to hold multiple meetings per year, work on pro-life legislation, and hear from pro-life advocates throughout Ohio.

Powell is currently seeking members of the Ohio legislature to join the caucus.
