Representative Manning Announces New Project in Lorain County

COLUMBUS – State Representative Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) announced that the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved the assistance for 12 projects in Ohio. These projects will create 3,962 new jobs in Ohio and retain 717 jobs across the state.

Hydro-Aire Inc. (Crane) will be expanding to Lorain County where they expect to create 26 full-time positions. This project will retain $18.9 million in existing payroll and generate $1.6 million in new annual payroll. Crane primarily makes landing gear systems and fluid handling systems used by the aerospace industry.

“I am pleased to see that more jobs will be added to our community,” said Rep. Manning. “This also is an investment not only in Lorain County, but in the State of Ohio.”

The 12 projects in total will generate investments upwards of $705 million in Ohio. Additionally, the projects will add $153 million in payroll.
