Rep. Manning Sworn in as State Representative of the 55th House District
COLUMBUS—State Representative Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) was sworn in to her first term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives during yesterday’s session. She represents the 55th District, which includes parts of Lorain County.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve at the state level,” said Manning. “Together, we will work to better the lives of all Ohioans. I look forward to hearing your ideas on how we can improve our great state.
Manning spent 37 years as an elementary school teacher. Manning served as a member of the North Ridgeville Planning Commission and on the North Ridgeville City Council. She served in the Ohio Senate from 2010-2018, and was elected to serve Ohio’s 55th House District after she was term limited in the Senate.
Today’s Ohio House session marked the beginning of the 133rd General Assembly.
