Click, Ohio House Approve Resolution Honoring Local Public Official Dwight Wise

State Rep. Gary Click (R-Vickery) and the Ohio House honored former state representative of the 85th Ohio House District Dwight Wise on the House floor. Click recognized Wise by presenting a resolution detailing Wise’s lifetime of accomplishments. Wise served the region of Sandusky County through multiple public official roles.

“I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dwight Wise. He left such a respectable impression on all those he met,” said Click. “He honorably served the several offices he held as he contributed to our surrounding communities. I believe his sincerity and love for our state is why he made such an effective public servant – I commend him on his respectable and fulfilling life as his legacy lives on within our state as we recognize him with this resolution.”

Click invited the Wise family to attend the moment during the House session as they received the resolution in his honor. His children in attendance included Sandy Wise, Geary Wise, and Gail Marshall along with his sister Sue Harner. Sandy spoke on the House floor to honor her father.

“Dad was very, very proud and honored to be elected into this House and to serve his district,” Sandy Wise said. “He just felt so privileged.”
