Washing State Community College Receives Funding for Workforce Training
The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $286,896, which will be allocated to Washing State Community College focused on developing further workforce training for students.
Washington State Community College along with Belmont College, Eastern Gateway Community College, and Zane State College have been working hard to apply state resources to increase workforce training for our future generations.
“Washington State Community College has for years been a wonderful partner of our community and it is important we continue our support of our state community colleges as they benefit so many in our area,” said Jones.
The sole purpose of this allocation is to provide more workforce training equipment to the Community College in Marietta, Washington County.
“Our workforce must be educated and properly trained to ensure Ohio remains an appealing state to both work and live, investing in our community colleges is an investment in our future,” said Edwards.
