Board Approves $156,344.00 for Renovation Project at the Noble County Correctional Institute
COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $156,344.00 for a renovation project at the Noble County Correctional Institute located in Caldwell Ohio.
The funds provided in this release will be allocated for window replacements throughout the correctional institute.
The Noble County facility is made up of numerous buildings that total up to about 500,000 square feet and many of the windows in those buildings are outdated and in need of replacement.
“I am pleased to see this funding be granted to the Noble County Correctional Facility, this is a small step in helping repair the jails throughout our state. I look forward to seeing House Bill 101 which was recently passed by the Ohio House continue to provide funding for our state's correctional facilities,” said Jones.
