Rep. Stein Appointed to House Public Utilities Committee
COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) yesterday appointed State Representative Dick Stein (R-Norwalk) to serve on the House Public Utilities Committee.
“I am happy Speaker Rosenberger selected me to sit on the Public Utilities Committee. I appreciate his trust in my abilities to work with this group to ensure Ohio has a bright energy future,” Rep. Stein said. “This important committee discusses electrical generation, distribution and its cost. We must ensure safe, affordable, and dependable electric power for all of Ohio’s consumers, which is the life-blood of any viable economy. I look forward to playing an active part in this new role of governmental service with the Public Utilities Committee.”
Rep. Stein is serving his first term in the House. He represents the 57th District, which includes Huron County and southern Lorain County.
