Board Approves Funding for Edison Park to High School Trail
COLUMBUS - The state controlling board has approved the release of $351,348 as a part of the Clean Ohio Trail Fund grant program.
The Milan Township Board of Trustees applied for this grant and has been awarded the funding necessary to complete their project. A 10-foot-wide path spanning 2,991 feet will be built to connect Edison Park to Edison High School.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Edison High School and Edison Park to be better connected and benefit of the Milan community,” said Swearingen.
This trail will be asphalt and will serve as a multi-use trail for the community.
“Connecting our communities is a priority of mine that I will continue to work on as I continue to serve the people of Ottawa and Erie Counties,” added Swearingen.
