COLUMBUS – Today, the Controlling Board approved funding for infrastructure improvements at Wright State University. The allocated funds total $48,450.
The university will be making updates to the HVAC system within the Student Union to align with their Campus Energy Efficiency and Control project.
“This funding will help Wright State with a critical infrastructure need,” said Lampton. “This in turn will save taxpayer dollars.”
The project started back in 2013 when the university made plans to reduce their energy consumption by 40% by utilizing modernized heating and cooling infrastructure across campus.
