Lampton Selected as Insurance Committee Chairman for 135th General Assembly

COLUMBUS – State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) today was appointed to serve as Chairman of the Ohio House of Representatives Insurance Committee for the 135th General Assembly.

“It is an incredible honor to be selected as Insurance Committee Chairman,” Lampton said. “With over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, I am prepared to lead discussions on any policy that comes our way.

Lampton was appointed to serve in this position by Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill).

“I had the opportunity to serve with Representative Lampton on the Insurance Committee in the last General Assembly, so I know firsthand how well-versed he is in insurance policy,” Speaker Stephens said. “I know he will thrive in this position and lead his colleagues well.”
