COLUMBUS – The Ohio House Transportation and Public Safety Committee today unanimously voted yes in support of House Bill 394, legislation which creates the Stephen T. Badin High School license plate.
“This license plate allows Badin alumni and their community the ability to show support for their school,” said bill sponsor State Rep. Sara Carruthers (R-Hamilton). “This high school has a great support system, especially with the recent successes of their football team, and this license plate allows for the continuation of school pride.”
Under the bill, the $30.00 registration and renewal registration fee of the license plate will go to the school’s general fund, allowing the school to use the monies in the best way they see fit.
The bill will now head to the House floor for a vote.
