Carruthers Appointed as Chair of House Finance Subcommittee on Health and Human Services

State Rep. Sara Carruthers (R-Hamilton) has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) as Chair of the House Finance Subcommittee on Health and Human Services for the 135th General Assembly.

“I want to thank Speaker Stephens for his consideration and appointment of me to this distinguished committee,” said Carruthers. “We have a lot of important work to do for Ohioans surrounding health services for our residents. I’m excited to get moving and deliver results for our state.”

During the previous General Assembly, Carruthers served as Chair of the Behavioral Health and Recovery Supports Committee and as a member of the Families, Aging and Human Services and the Finance Committees.

“I believe Representative Carruthers has the experience and expertise to thrive on this subcommittee in order to deliver for the people of Ohio,” said Speaker Stephens.
