Rep. Brown Recognizes Pride Month, Opposes Recent Anti-Trans Legislation

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Richard Brown (D-Canal Winchester) today recognizes Pride Month and Ohio’s LGBTQ+ vibrant and diverse community:

“All hardworking people in our state should have the right and opportunity to earn a good living in order to provide for themselves and their families without fear of being targeted or attacked,” said Rep. Brown.

Anti-trans legislation such as the Anti-Trans Sports Ban (House Bill 6), Ban on Gender Affirming Care (House Bill 68), and the Trans Bathroom Discrimination Act (House Bill 183) have been introduced in Ohio. These bills would destroy Ohioans civil rights and set our state backwards, jeopardizing the work activists, citizens, and leaders have done to make Ohio a welcoming and safe state for all.
