Rep. Brown Applauds New OhioHealth Facility

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Richard Brown (D- Canal Winchester) today released the following statement regarding a new OhioHealth facility being  constructed in Canal Winchester. The $31-million investment will include a 10,000-square-foot freestanding emergency department and a 30,000-square-foot medical office building. It is expected to open in 2025.

“This new OhioHealth facility will benefit Ohio patients and increase opportunity for healthcare workers,” said Rep. Brown. “The outlook on Canal Winchester’s future and economic prosperity is enhanced by this cutting-edge, local facility.” 

Rep. Brown commends the continued investment by OhioHealth into the city and hopes that the intended increase in access to primary care, emergency care, and other specialty services will benefit Canal Winchester for the foreseeable future.
