Rep. Brown announces over $74,000 for Jefferson Township Fire Department
Funds from Democrats' American Rescue Plan will support the health and wellness of law enforcement, first responders

COLUMBUS –Today, State Rep. Richard Brown (D-Canal Winchester) announced that the Jefferson Township Fire Department will receive $74,700 from Democrats’ American Rescue Plan to support the wellness and staffing needs of Ohio’s first responders.
“I am glad to see the continued investment of our first responders,” said Rep. Brown. “I will continue to work to support those who protect our communities every day.”
Funds will be used for resiliency training and annual wellness checks for firefighters at Jefferson Township Fire Department.
