Loychik Supports SAFE Act Veto Override

COLUMBUS– State Representative Mike Loychik (R-Bazetta) today made the following statement in response to the Ohio House overriding Governor DeWine’s veto of House Bill 68, the SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act.

“As a parent, I support legislation that protects my right to oversee my child’s medical care,” Loychik said. “There is no question in my mind that today’s veto override was needed to protect women’s sports and our children from life-altering surgeries and experimentation.”

The veto override of the SAFE Act will now be considered by the Ohio Senate.
