Controlling Board Approves $340,000.00 for Eastgate Regional Council of Governments
COLUMBUS - The state controlling board has approved the release of $340,000.00 to the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments, for public roadwork improvements in support of the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments project in the Village of Lordstown, Trumbull County.
The funding will provide improvements of roadwork to support the expansion or attraction of business to the area. The funds will be allocated to paving, widening, road construction, reconstruction, sewer enhancements, and utility line improvements.
“This will allow for additional economic development in the Lordstown area following the region’s upward economic trend,” said Loychik.
Specifically, the funds will be allocated to resurfacing Hallock Young Road from Ellsworth Bailey Road to State Route 45.
