JOIN Reps. Weinstein and Upchurch virtual town hall on bill to legalize recreational marijuana

COLUMBUS- State Reps. Casey Weinstein (D-Hudson) and Terrence Upchurch (D-Cleveland) today announced a virtual town hall meeting on Thursday, August 26 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm on Zoom to discuss the recently introduced HB 382, which would legalize recreational marijuana in Ohio.

Attendees will hear from experts and advocates working in the medical marijuana industry, criminal justice, veterans’ affairs, and Ohio economics and will have an opportunity to ask questions.

“This is an opportunity to hear from Ohioans about how we can move forward on the issue of fully legalizing marijuana,” said Rep. Upchurch. 

“We are looking forward to sharing more details about this bill with Ohioans, answering questions, and starting to build momentum to make this law,” said Rep. Weinstein.
