Hillyer Highlights STEM Scholarship Opportunity

COLUMBUS – State Representative Brett Hillyer (R-Uhrichsville) highlights the Believe in Ohio Statewide STEM Innovation & Entrepreneurship Scholarship Program. This program was made possible with the help of Gov. DeWine, Lt. Gov. Husted, the Ohio Department of Education and the General Assembly. 

The Believe in Ohio Statewide STEM Innovation and Entrepreneurship Scholarship Program recognizes high school students across Ohio for their contributions to STEM Innovation and Entrepreneurship.  

In order to ensure that all students have the ability to apply for the program one student from each of Ohio’s 99 House districts and 33 Senate Districts will be selected to receive the $1,000 scholarship.

“It is imperative that light is shed on programs like this one and I am encouraged to see such a great opportunity become available to high school students across the state,” said Hillyer.
