Schmidt Issues Statement on Passing of State Senator Kirk Schuring

COLUMBUS—State Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) today issued the following statement on the passing of State Senator Kirk Schuring:

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of Senator Schuring. I had the privilege serving with him 24 years ago and was delighted to know he was still in the legislature when I returned to the Statehouse. Senator Schuring was a dedicated public servant who sacrificed time away from his family to make Ohio the best place to raise a family. He loved Ohio, his family, and, most importantly, the Lord. May he rest in peace
