COLUMBUS - State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) today announced the passage of House Bill (HB) 2, the state's biennial state capital budget, in both the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate. The record-setting $6.2 billion investment makes appropriations for state-owned infrastructure, colleges, universities, and school districts as well as other community projects.

COLUMBUS – House Democrats today held a news conference to introduce the Learning & Education Advancement Package (LEAP) Initiative, legislation to reaffirm K-12 education as a Democratic priority, setting goals and standards for our education system prior to the next school year for for-profit charter school oversight, private school vouchers accountability, investing in early childhood education, and supporting public schools, educators, and students. 

State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) today expressed his sorrow over the passage of Hamilton County Auditor and former State Rep. Brigid Kelly (D-Cincinnati), who passed away from esophageal cancer last week, to remember their friendship and her public service.
