COLUMBUS— State Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) continues to welcome the many local job creation projects to her district through investment in businesses such as York Street Fresh Foods.
“The dynamic effort of JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati has once again brought good paying jobs to the great people of District 28,” said Rep. Miranda. “As we are confronted with much uncertainty, it is good to be able to rely on JobsOhio to continue creating opportunities for growth. I am excited to see what the future holds for York Street Fresh Foods, and I look forward to more high quality jobs coming to our district; high quality jobs that the people of District 28 deserve.”
York Street Fresh Foods, a family-owned business, is a producer and distributor of premium, healthy and convenient grab-and-go food solutions. The company is a joint venture between Caruso Inc., an Ohio-based company, and Lorenzo Food Group, a New Jersey company. This local project is among the many projects JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati have worked on in the District, symbolizing over 8,500 new jobs and nearly $700 million in new fixed assets investment commitment to House District 28.
