Rep. Miranda applauds nearly $2 billion in state infrastructure investments

Includes $750 million for 95 projects in SW Ohio this year

Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) applauded the Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) investment of $1.92 billion for projects around the state, including 95 projects in ODOT District 8 where Hamilton County is located. ODOT Director Jack Marchbanks Tuesday visited Sharonville in the #Great28 to announce the construction of the next phase of I-75 Thru the Valley.

“Improving our local roads and highways is not only good for motorists and pedestrians, but for our communities as a whole,” said Rep. Miranda. “Meaningful investments by the state and federal government in our infrastructure is vital to our safety and economic well-being.”

Director Marchbanks announced plans for various state-funded construction projects in the Greater Cincinnati area, including roadway improvements and paved multi-purpose path expansions set to take place over the coming years.
