Rep. Miranda applauds Montgomery Elementary School for 2021 National Blue Ribbon School recognition

Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) today applauded Montgomery Elementary School, of the Sycamore Community Schools, for being named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School.

“I’m proud of Montgomery Elementary for being named a Blue Ribbon School this year, and it is of no surprise that they are being recognized as one of the nation’s top performing schools,” said Rep. Miranda. “This is an example of the good that can come from properly investing in our public schools. ” 

Earlier this year, the U.S. Dept. of Education announced a list of 325 schools nationwide that are National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2021. Montgomery Elementary was recognized as part of the Exemplary High Performing Schools nomination category, meaning that it is among Ohio’s highest performing schools as measured by state and nationally normed tests.
