COLUMBUS– State Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) this week announced the start of early voting in Hamilton County. The announcement comes as thousands of Ohioans converged on their county board of elections early on Tuesday morning to cast a ballot on the first day of early voting.

“As the first day of early voting passes us by, I want to encourage everyone to make your voice heard and vote! Whether you chose to vote absentee through the mail, early vote in person at the Hamilton County Board of Elections, or vote on Election Day, exercise your fundamental civic duty and know the importance of your vote. After having won this seat by 56 votes, I can knowledgeably say that every single vote matters,” said Rep. Miranda.

The announcement of early voting commencing also accompanies the beginning of the absentee voting period, during which a record number of absentee ballots will be mailed out, as Ohioans exercise their right to vote safely from their homes. Those ballots will be sent to Ohioans who applied for them in the coming days.
