Rep. Miranda announces local JobsOhio Job Creation Tax Credit projects

Lawmaker commends record job creation projects this year for District 28

State Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) announced Wednesday that four additional local businesses have received a total of $12,135,000 in grant funding from JobsOhio, Ohio’s statewide and private economic development company, and regional partner REDI Cincinnati.

“I am excited for all of the investments flowing into District 28. Successful and unique companies like these are crucial for the future of the ‘Great 28’ and the Cincinnati region,” said Miranda. “It is important to recognize and commend efforts that support local economic and job development. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for these companies, in addition to the increasing high-quality jobs coming to my district.”

The job creation grants were awarded to the following companies:

—Graphic Village, a complete marketing solutions provider, received the Revitalization Grant for $350,000 and expects to create 40 new full time jobs.

—The General Electric Company received the Research & Development Grant for $7,500,000 and anticipates the creation of 100 full time jobs.

—Insight Catastrophe Group, an innovative insurance portfolio manager and solution provider, received a Workforce Grant for $35,000 and expects to create 19 new full time jobs.

—Ensemble, a health partnership organization, received the Research & Development Grant for $4,250,000 and expects to create 1,100 new full time jobs.

These local projects are among the 92 total job creation projects selected by JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati, symbolizing over 6,600 new jobs and $656,856,218 in new fixed assets investment commitment to House District 28.
