State Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) announced Thursday the planned expansion of General Mills at its production facility in Sharonville. The facility will add 33 new employees to the 200 existing jobs at the location.

“It’s welcome news that companies see the opportunity to invest in the people and communities here in the #Great28,” said Rep. Miranda. “It’s a priority of mine to make sure that this region is a promising place for all to live, work, and grow a business, and I’m glad that General Mills recognizes this as well.”

General Mills expects the expansion at the Sharonville facility to be completed by February 2022. The company plans to hire a variety of new positions and include training programs to support talent development, renovate the building, and bring in new equipment to expand their cereal production.
