State Rep. Jeffrey A. Crossman (D-Parma) today was appointed as Ranking Member to the House Financial Institutions committee on which he will serve to help shape and refine public policy related to banks, credit unions and other lending businesses during the 133rd General Assembly.
“With the direct impact this committee has on Ohio’s financial systems, our work can have a positive effect on growing our economy, while protecting consumers and helping Ohioans invest and save for the long term,” said Crossman. “I am thankful for this opportunity and I look forward to working in a bipartisan way to ensure Ohio businesses and consumers can experience the full promise and opportunity of our state.”
Rep. Crossman also serves on the following committees:
- Civil Justice
- Criminal Justice
- Public Utilities
Committee meetings allow citizens to weigh in on legislative proposals and recommend changes before the bills are considered by the full House.
