Reps. Boyd, Howse, Sen. Williams to Host Fourth Annual Energy Assistance Expo
State Reps. Janine Boyd (D-Cleveland Heights) and Stephanie Howse (D-Cleveland) and Sen. Sandra Williams (D-Cleveland) will host the Fourth Annual Energy Assistance Expo on Saturday, January 18, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Vocational Guidance Services Center to provide resources to residents of Cleveland who need assistance with their energy bills.
The Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland, CHN Housing Partners, The Illuminating Company, Cleveland Public Power and Dominion Energy will all be in attendance to help educate people about their energy bill options and set up payments plans if they are struggling to afford their current bills.
To apply for these payment plans, residents will need to provide appropriate documentation for all members of their household, including:
- Proof of household’s total gross income (Paystub, Social Security, Disability, Pension, Annuity Payments)
- A copy of ID (driver’s license or state identification)
- A copy of Supplemental Medical Insurance
- A copy of Social Security Card
- A copy of Electric Bill
- A copy of Gas Bill
