COLUMBUS –State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) and Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) today passed House Bill 583 out of the Ohio House of Representatives, legislation that intends to make changes to the Ohio Revised Code regarding educator licenses for substitute teachers, to establish a study committee on the substitute teacher shortage, and to make an appropriation.

COLUMBUS –State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) supported legislation with a vote on the Ohio House floor that would allow law-abiding Ohioans to carry a concealed handgun without a permit. The measure was been approved by the Ohio House of Representatives.

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Fair will return in 2022. State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) and the Ohio Expositions Commission announced Friday the state fair will return to full operations July 27- Aug. 7. 

COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $130,000.00 for two projects in St. Clairsville, Belmont County.
