COLUMBUS— State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) supports the delegation of $127,750 to the Marietta Police and Fire Departments for employees to attend sessions with a crisis counselor.

State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) has issued the following statement on National First Responders Day:

COLUMBUS— Yesterday the Ohio State Controlling Board approved funding for Belmont College’s Regionally Aligned Priorities in Delivering Skills (RAPIDS V) project.

COLUMBUS— Today the Ohio State Controlling Board approved funding for the Ohio Mine Safety Training Center in Harrison County that will be used to build a new storage building on-site. The Controlling Board also approved funding for the West Perimeter Slip Erosion Project at the Noble Correctional Institution, located in Noble County.

COLUMBUS—State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) highlights $200,000 from the H2Ohio initiative coming to Lowell in an effort to improve drinking water quality for its residents.

COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $1.6 million for a renovation project at the Noble County Correctional Institute located in Caldwell Ohio.  

COLUMBUS – This week Governor DeWine signed House Bill 377, which will provide a $500 million investment into Appalachia Ohio, announced State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport). 

COLUMBUS – Today Governor Mike DeWine signed House Bill 583 into law. The bill intends to make changes to the Ohio Revised Code regarding educator licenses for substitute teachers, to establish a study committee on the substitute teacher shortage, and to make an appropriation.

COLUMBUS –State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) highlights Belmont County receiving funding as a part of the new Ohio Brownfield Remediation Program.
