Grendell Announced State Controlling Board Approved Two Projects in Geauga County
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Diane Grendell (R-Chesterland) Today announced the State Controlling Board approved two new projects in her district.
The first project is a part of the NatureWorks Program, which was established in 1993 and has helped facilitate 2300 projects throughout Ohio since the program’s inception.
Bainbridge Township received $44,079 to help install new playground equipment at Settler’s Park. This project was among 115 others throughout the state that received funding from the NatureWorks Project.
“I am delighted to see NatureWorks funding come to Bainbridge Township to help install playground equipment which will be enjoyed by many for years to come,” said Grendell.
Additionally, $250,921.00 was released by the state controlling board to purchase and renovate a 2,382 square foot home to create a level II recovery house for five adult women recovering from substance use disorders. A recovery house manager will live on-site, providing support, accountability, monitor activities, and assist with screening potential residents.
