Rep. Robinson announces in-district events for November
State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) today announced several public, in-district events, including his upcoming “Robinson Roundtable” open office hours on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Independence Public Library, as well as a Veteran’s Day Town Hall, Monday, November 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Gates Mills Community Building in Gates Mills, Ohio.
“As I have said before, all elected officials must do everything possible to engage with their constituents in order for democracy to work at its best,” said Rep. Robinson. “To all of the veterans in District 6 and Ohio, thank you for your service. I look forward to meeting any who attend my town hall.”
In addition to monthly office hours, or “Robinson Roundtables” on the second Saturday of each month, Rep. Robinson recently announced a District 6 town hall tour, which will include town hall events in each of the district’s 17 communities over the next year.
The first of the District 6 tour town halls was held in Broadview Heights in October. Rep. Robinson has also already held town halls in the communities of Solon, Lyndhurst, Chagrin Falls, Brecksville, and Walton Hills in August and September. These town halls were part of the Ohio Promise Tour, House Democrats’ legislative town hall series following the unveiling of the Ohio Promise.
