Rep. Brown Announces $1.7M in funding for Renovations and Improvements to Rickenbacker Army National Guard Base

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Richard Brown (D-Canal Winchester) announced that the Controlling Board approved the release of more than $1.7M in capital funds for the continued renovations and improvements to Rickenbacker Army National Guard Base. 

“It is great to see capital dollars continue to come into the district,” said Rep. Brown. “These investments into Rickenbacker will help to support the health and safety of our workers and our service members.” 

Funding will support: 

• Renovations to update and convert buildings to provide a solider processing medical assessment facility that will include six medical exam rooms, an electrocardiogram room, six dental exam rooms, and a dental x-ray room;
• Removal and replacement of the current sanitary sewer system lining.
